Look what we found in our school grounds today!

 

 

 

Dinosaur eggs!!!! The children have been buzzing with ideas of  how the eggs arrived here. Some children have informed me that the mummy dinosaur has gone on holiday, others were anxious that the mammy and daddy dinosaur might come back to our school to get the eggs! One little girl asked me how they could be dinosaur eggs since the dinosaurs aren't alive any more - very clever!!! We discussed different options (even the possibility that they could be ostrich eggs) and decided that they are dinosaur eggs that were hidden in the ground and have come to the surface. We wrote about which dinosaur we thought could be in the eggs and on Friday we are going to make a class book about all the different dinosaurs.
